Two to three times the track width, depending on the heading. Below twice the width a curtain looks flat however good the fabric is. Sheers need the most fullness; heavy lined curtains the least.
Yes — finishing about 1cm above the floor is the standard we fit. Short curtains make a room look smaller, and they leak light underneath.
A track is better for blackout, for motorisation and for corner or bay windows. A pole is a decorative choice and suits eyelet headings. We advise per window at the visit.
Yes, on a double track. It is the most common specification we fit in Dubai — sheers for daytime light and privacy, blackout drawn in the evening.
Typically three to five working days from approving the fabric, and about an hour to fit a standard room.
