Made-to-measure blinds are cut to your exact recess so they sit square and seal properly at the edges. The mechanism decides how the blind behaves and the fabric decides how much light it lets through: blackout for darkness, sunscreen to cut glare while keeping the view, and moisture-resistant PVC for kitchens and bathrooms.

Questions
Blinds, answered.
A sunscreen roller blind with a 3–5% openness factor. It blocks 90–95% of UV and kills glare while keeping the view. For heat specifically, a metallised backing performs best.
Inside looks cleaner and is the usual choice. Outside covers the frame and cuts far more light leak, which is what you want for a blackout blind in a bedroom.
We fit chain safety devices as standard and recommend cordless or motorised blinds in any room a child uses. We will not leave a looped chain unsecured.
Roller blinds in PVC or moisture-resistant polyester, or aluminium venetians. Both wipe clean and are unaffected by humidity. Avoid roman blinds in wet rooms — they are made from curtain fabric.
Yes. Rollers are the easiest because the motor sits inside the tube, but vertical, roman and venetian blinds can all be motorised with battery or hard-wired options.
About 3 metres for a roller and 2.4 metres for a roman before the mechanism starts to sag. Wider windows are better served by two or three blinds on a single headrail.
