Which blind keeps the most view?
A sunscreen roller at 5–10% openness. It blocks 90–95% of UV and kills glare on screens while remaining see-through. A zebra blind gives similar control with the added option of closing to solid bands for evening privacy.
How do I cover a wide run of glass?
Split it into two or three blinds on one continuous headrail rather than forcing a single wide blind. Each section stays light to operate, the tube does not deflect, and if one is ever damaged you replace one section rather than the whole window.
Blinds or curtains in a living room?
Blinds handle glare and heat better during the day and take almost no wall space. Curtains insulate more, soften the acoustics and give a warmer look at night. Many Dubai living rooms end up with both — a blind at the glass and curtains dressing it.
